Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited (TANGEDCO) has given an employment notification for the recruitment of 325 Assistant Engineer vacancies on direct recruitment basis. Eligible candidates may apply online from 14-02-2018 to 28-02-2018.

Name of the Post:
1. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 300 Posts
a. Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 273 Posts
b. Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering: 21 Posts
c. Computer Science/ Information Technology Engineering: 06 Posts
2. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 25 Posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 – no age limit for SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO, BCM and Destitute Widows of all castes &
18 – 30 years for Others (i.e candidates not belonging to SC, SC(A), ST, MBC/DC, BCO and BCM) as on 01-07-2017, please refer notification.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor degree in EEE/ ECE/ EIE/ CSE/ IT Engineering or pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Electrical Engineering Branch for post-1,
Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or pass in AMIE (Sections A and B) under Civil Engineering Branch for post-2 & possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written examination
Examination Fee: Candidates should pay Rs. 500/- + GST Rs. 90/- for OC, BCO, BCM,MBC/ DC &
Rs. 250/- + GST Rs. 45/- for SC, SCA, ST, Destitute widow, Ex-servicemen and Differently abled person through bank challan (Canara Bank or Indian Bank or Indian Overseas Bank) or through online payment.
