Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced a notification for the recruitment of 9351 Junior Assistant, Village Administrative Officer, Bill Collector, Grade-I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist, Steno-Typist vacancies 2015- 2016, 2016 – 2017, 2017 – 2018 on direct recruitment basis. Age Limit: Candidates age should be 21 to 40 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows, 21 to 30 years for Others for Post 1, 18 to 35 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyar), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all castes & Others, 18 to 32 years for Most Backward Classes/ Denotified Communities, Backward Classes and Backward Classes (Muslims), 18 to 30 years for Others” i.e.,
Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/ DCs, BCs and BCMs as on 01-07-2017. For more information refer the notification.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies for Post 1 to 6, General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies & have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting i.e. Higher/ Senior Grade in Tamil and English/ Higher/ Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English/ Higher/ Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil for Post 7, 8.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on Written Examination for Post 1 to 6, Technical qualification for Post 7, 8.
Registration Fee: Applicants who have already registered in One Time Registration system paying Rs.50/- before 01-03-2017 and those who have registered for One-Time Registration on or after 01-03-2017 by paying Rs.150/- are exempted from paying the registration fee for this recruitment.
Examination Fee: Applicants required to pay Rs.100/- through online by using Net banking/ Credit card/ Debit card or it can be paid at State Bank of India/Indian Bank. No fee for SC/ ST, Differently abled Persons, Destitute Widow of all communities & others. For more information refer the notification.
